Angriest I’ve been in a long time reading this fucking book

First “romantasy” book ever, and it’s because of book club lol

Reading for a book club, going in blind, and realizing it’s a pretty relevant book for our times…

I’m literally only reading because 1) I got this for free before we all found out, and 2) Yoshitaka’s art is pretty and it’s short. But man…never ever paying for his books again.

Starts strong, was compelling, but I’m having trouble finishing because I 1) find the characters so flat, 2) dislike the narrative style because it’s not consistent and bloody frustrating.

Sad it absolutely starts going downhill about 8 chapters in…
