i am so obsessed with this book that i have to physically stop myself from devouring this at 2 am and go sleep 😭 it feels good to finally be back!!
also just learned today that this was a dermione fanfic 🤭

“Just be gentle with me, Graham,” he breathed, reeling her in with her own name. “You’ve got me on the gallows here.” He let her braid fall. “But I’ll be damned if you’re not the most beautiful executioner I’ve ever seen.”

im so obsessed with this aster!!

“Then there’s the braid. Your hair is my favorite when it’s free to be as wild as it wants, but the braid has its benefits.” He paused, locked eyes with her, and leaned away again, casual as can be. “It wraps so prettily around my fist.”

i am eating up all the delicious tension between them 🤭

so far so freaking goodd!!

God, he’d wanted her. He’d wanted her with an all- consuming thirst, with the desperation of a man waiting to die.

this is INSANE and so fun so far! ml is scary but also charming?

“Stalking a girl into the powder room with the intent to murder her is business as usual for you. Isn’t it, Gideon Sharpe?”
“Funny how you can’t keep my name out of your mouth tonight.”

“Alice,” he says, his voice rough. “I still want things I shouldn’t.” Charlie’s gaze drops ever so slowly to my mouth.
“Why shouldn’t you?” I whisper.
He gives me a long look and says, “Fuck it.”
I’d smile, but his mouth is already on mine.

the tension is soo good 😩 and “fuck it” kissing moments never disappoint 😋

“No, it’s because when you speak, he listens. When you smile, he smiles. When you need something, he offers help. When you give him something, he thanks you. You’re peas and carrots—I think you’ve found yourself a lifelong friend.”
