Knowing it has been fashionable for the past 30 years at least, are we supposed to think Marley is in her 40s?

*Gasps in disbelief* Has Ryder's sister been raised in a very remote and very deserted island? Has she never seen how adults interact? Because that's the only reason I can imagine for how infantile she behaves. She's supposed to be in her late twenties and yet, she's unable to explain herself clearly... Like one of those silly female characters in old 1950's movies: spooked for no reason and talking non-sense.

In the name of all the women who are not petite by any standards, it would be nice to read about h of all shapes and sizes. Same goes for the H.

Description of the h: "She was a tiny thing with more sass than size." - *sigh* I'd love to read more novels with heroines that are not the pocket-size version of a woman.

While this would, no doubt, look sexy in a movie, in a book that sort of sentence always has me thinking that the guy could make an effort to buy clothes his actual size, not 2 sizes too small. Instead of thinking "hot!", I think "lazy". That's the difference between a movie and a book.

bon sang, que c'est lent ! 100 pages et il ne s'est encore rien passé!Certaines parties de l'histoire semblent avoir été inventées au fur et à mesure de l'écriture du récit : elles ne collent pas avec le début de l'histoire ni avec le caractère des personnages.
