A good reminder of the purpose of the Church and the need for metamorphoses in the life of the Christ follower.

I have read through the 4th book - I understand that many concentrate on the first three books. I am now a fan of allegory, and the category of Medieval literature and courtly love is fascinating.

So far, this book is a bit like being in the crowd during the days leading up to the revolution. I'm losing faith in the good of literacy.

A comedy of manners in upstate New York. The book reveals complex social themes and at times reveals a heavy dollop of romanticism.
