I found this story a bit harder to get into. The plot was very straightforward but took so long to get there.

I wanted to like this story. It had all of my favourite elements… time travel and a love story (enemies to lovers). I just couldn’t get used to the style of writing. I felt no empathy for the characters. They were nameless and faceless, without substance.

I was dreading reading this book because Eric was such a jerk in the first two books. I shouldn’t have doubted Klyie! I am killing myself laughing.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This was more than a barbarian in skins with lots of muscles.

Well this is a pleasant surprise. Gripping from the first chapter.

I got the audio book but I don’t like the narrator. Going to wait for the ebook to become available

I just can’t get into this one. The plot is plodding. I don’t care about the colonists. Murderbot fun snark is missing.

They keep getting better. Much less mysticism and more action. Robin and Raven evolved and grew through the course of the story.

First instalment done. Waiting anxiously for the story to continue.

Finished reading the online serial but the final book with the last chapter won’t be published for several months. As expected, Gordon and Ilona delivered an enjoyable story.

I lost interest in this story.

I found that I just didn’t care anymore about the characters by the third book.

I liked the first book but couldn’t get past the first chapter of this one. It was one long information dump.

It’s the first time l, in quite some time, that a story has gripped me from the first page. I have great hopes for this story.

I’m really enjoying this book. My one complaint is that the cover keeps distracting me from the story. Both main characters are described as brown skinned with black or white hair. The book cover couldn’t be farther away from the description.

Loving this book. I want to read it faster to figure out what is going to happen but I want to read it slow and saver it.

I borrowed the audio book hoping it would help but this book is too challenging at the moment. I have to put it aside.

Unfortunately didn’t live up to the reviews and recommendations received. Uneven pacing, characters not behaving consistently and believably in the situations they were placed.

I want to go back and read the first book in the Cast In series. I’m loving this book fills in missing information.

Love, love, love this story. So good that I’m going to start reading it again!

Fun, light, and easy read
