i have thought of these ideas and wondered about them indefinitely, particularly when listening to deep purple's perfect strangers or rainbows street of dreams and listening to the later today did a quick search and found many lives many masters so i am going to seriously look into this and kinda hopeful this be real cause seems to be some positive feedback here

really having a hard time keeping interest in this sad cause its an interesting premise

i want to like this. been excited about reading baxter since i first found about his space-time trilogy with arthur c. clarke then last week i looked for a baxter collection and found he has a few books and series. i found some looked at them and decided to to start with the flood books. it started ok but has gotten very slow afraid it not pick up will lose interest and drop it

i am only at 5 percent cause i am trying to stick with foreigner but will probably end up going with this. all i have read by Asimov is the ugly ittle boy and the caves of steel and they were so pure clean and decent i am in awe. i mean i am so sick of the anti-hero and the good guys being nastier then the villains think i am really going to fall into Asimov's writings cause i hope they are good decent stories

i want to like this. um i am on book 2 section 2 and really losing patience with this cause it keeps jumping around and i want something or some character to return cause its a couple chapters following a ship a couple chapters where the humans make first contact with the books aliens then a jump and a couple chapters getting to know the aliens and i am about to move to something else

i really enjoyed this book. i just am in awe i mean its about the ills and problems in society no one really wants to address and it just floors me that life is the way Ellison describes here

Have to say i loved The Ugly Little Boy it rocked

kinda disappointed i am following a recommended reading plan for these Niven books and all the associated books and stories to the Ringworld and Known Space Stories. Just finishing Ringworld i really enjoyed the character Louis Wu and have to read protecter and it has nothing to do with Wu i think
