Well I'd been promised this is an uncharacteristically brutal read for a football autobio (not that I've read a ton) and so far, that scans!

It's just nice to read really busy & exuberant comic+ stuff, so this is good

p80 last night. Shocked a little by how sardonic a tone Arendt takes! Eichmann becomes this sort of loser, finding joy only in very middle-class markers of progress and in the stories he tells himself (always in the same words and unoriginal stock phrases)
