I have threatened to stop reading it about 10 times! There’s no time like the present to learn about the evils that Russia has committed. This is well-written heavy, depressing prose with excessive time jumps. I echo others who find it awkward and unnecessary for Marra to constantly tell you about a character and flashback or foreshadow what has or will be in this character’s life in the same sentence.

This is a very different book. So far thumbs up

The Wonder Years meets Death and Trouble..I love the vibe and this author's writing style

This one is over-written. At times the description is vivid and welcome, but at others the word salad kills the suspense. This will be a slow read until it gets going.
