book II, here we fucking go

reading this book is being such a strange situation for me. it's good and when I'm reading it I don't want to put it, but when I'm not reading it I'm so lazy to pick it up; "big book tiny font" syndrome, I'm calling it. I read almost two dozen books since I started this and that's not really something i particularly enjoy doing, i like picking up a book and finishing it. whatever. very weird for me, overall.

the way jiang cheng is the most relatable motherfucker ever to me. patron saint of fucked families.

pretty rare for me to enjoy high schoolers, but these two do not feel like they are 17. really good.

feeling a bit of a slump, but this is pretty interesting. the family's dynamics are fucking insane.

i can't help but cry every time i read about the multiple military dictatorships in my continent. it incites a deep desperation in the heart. there's nothing the usa can do atone for this; our blood will always be on their hands and they will never wash it off.
