I am loving this fantasy murder mystery!

It's a great premise but it's moving veeeery slowly.

Does anyone else think that this is an allegory for Ukraine? I say that because of the blue and yellow flags and the smiling knight who defends the city.

I'm halfway through this book and I'm having a really hard time finding the main character Bea plausible. She does and feels things that don't make sense unless she's on the spectrum. But I don't think she's meant to be.

Getting pretty bored at 24%. Is this worth continuing? I didn't like Annihilation all that much either, but people were raving about this one.

I was skeptical at first but now I do not want this book to end.

I normally skip over lists of names of characters. For this book, I wish I had printed it out. Maybe it's not too late.

Really enjoying my second Alix Harrow book. There's an uncanny resemblance to Still the Sun, in a good way.

I want to like this book but I'm really struggling. So many characters, so many names, jumping around in time ...

This is a truly bizarre book, and I've read some weird ones. Why is it set in Germany? Is it an allegory for Nazi Germany? What is the deal with all the memory problems? And finally, can the first person narrator read people's minds??

So this book is really damn good for being written by a teenager, but it's nonetheless a cliched bit of a slog sometimes.

Loving this really original adventure that looks like fantasy but turns out to be sci-fi.

I am reading this book sooooo slowly, because I never want it to end.
