Great intro for kids about the evils of colonization. Its not a happily ever after coming home to an Eden and building a great nation. Its land theft, and genocide to build empire, and its still ongoing.
I'd love to read an adult book about the indigenous peoples and the different tribes and more details about the in fighting between the different tribes and how that helped bring about their demise as well.

I won this book in a Goodreads Giveaway. Before I read it I had to read book 1 in the series, Wolf Hall. I reviewed it too. As for this book, the writing is better than the first or I've gotten used to her style of writing. Like Ive mentioned Ive read several books on Henry VIII so this perspective of Thomas Cromwell was interesting but some parts dragged on like his imaginary dinners and such.
