Absolutely loving this. Characters are amazing, I love the banter, and the quantity of quotable sentences. Long time a book hadn’t hooked me so much

My first read of this author and I am honestly loving it so far. Cannot seem to be able to put down the book

From the 35% of the book up, the rythm has perked up a lot and I am hooked, actively reading and gobbling it up. This is such a clever and amusing way of recounting a murder mystery, I feel like it's so easy for Pamuk to describe the visuals of this, like I'm watching a movie - how does he do it?!

Ohgod this book is so cleverly written! I love books that are so well structured that they could ONLY be a BOOK. A movie would have to restructure itself a bit to have the same impact, and I still think it would be lacking what this book gives. Loving this read!

This book is very dense and has a lot of stories in between, so sometimes it's hard to push through this thick book
Committed the error of reading other books meanwhile so now I'm back at it it's hard to keep up with all the names and characters. I think I'll need a notebook beside me to solve this murder

Finally met the famous tod! Literally have to speak aloud sometimes to decode the thick scottish accent
Some parts could be a tad shorter, but I can see Richard Adams enjoys writing every bit of this and I can respect that
