This book is so flat, I could use it as a drafting table for the rest of the plot.
I think this book is really not for me. Trying to power through to see what this romance is all about.

Starting this book a bit relunctantly, giving it a second chance after I read a few pages a year ago. A bit annoyed we are given, again and again, oh so many warnings of the danger incurred, yet the MC seems practically unfazed, outfit checking her new clothes, talking about the potential first years she can bed if she survives. Like, lady, are you aware you can die in like, half an hour?

Absolutely loving this. Characters are amazing, I love the banter, and the quantity of quotable sentences. Long time a book hadn’t hooked me so much

My first read of this author and I am honestly loving it so far. Cannot seem to be able to put down the book

From the 35% of the book up, the rythm has perked up a lot and I am hooked, actively reading and gobbling it up. This is such a clever and amusing way of recounting a murder mystery, I feel like it's so easy for Pamuk to describe the visuals of this, like I'm watching a movie - how does he do it?!

Ohgod this book is so cleverly written! I love books that are so well structured that they could ONLY be a BOOK. A movie would have to restructure itself a bit to have the same impact, and I still think it would be lacking what this book gives. Loving this read!
