Good insights that stayed with me, lost interest about halfway through

Rec from D, have on audible and text, good that said also used it to fall asleep and missed parts. Thought it was good, not yet as good as everyone says, maybe need to finish to get to the bang. Is it like 'hacks' everyone else liked it?

Hard to get through, main character not super progressing maybe not enough sex but also not enough story? Maybe need to give it another shot post love on the spectrum. Started 3/4 years ago and did not take it off the list. Maybe that's saying something.
