DNF wasn't a bad book but not my kinda read and kinda slow. May try to read at a later time.

Ok the characters (with the exception of the things they think/ say) and story line is good but 40 somethings don't say " unironically, hits differently, or ASMR" ... I know what these are but only because I work in an elementary school and have teenagers. I'm struggling to believe these people know what it is they say.

I'm struggling to get into it but I won it in a Goodreads give away and feel obligated to finish and review. The plot is slow, I feel the characters are kinda flat, and the world building is a bit lacking. The synopsis sounded like something I would enjoy but it's really falling short so far. I guess I had expected it to be more like Belladonna.

DNF...was looking for some light, easy read but this is not it. The FMC goes through some major tragic shit and I don't think I will pick it back up.
