Enjoyed reading their stories though I thought the book itself would be more about their work there.

This author's story written over 10 years after the Rwandan genocide shares her listening ability/work in sev. African countries, India & Pakistan - informative & inspiring. Peace Corps service asks a 3rd goal of its volunteers: to help make Americans more aware of the rest of the world. Jacqueline Novogratz does that with this book modeling true listening to the poor & finding means for them to improve their lives
