The novel is a quick read, although the subject might be extremely triggering and might require a few breaks for some. I must say, I’m happy I read this on sunny days though. At first, I couldn’t grasp Charlie’s substance, nor did I feel any connection. Truth be told, I was quasi certain I wouldn’t love the book. Part 3 is what really did it for me. I finally was able to get her, to understand.

Franchement les gars, on pourrait croire que je ne lis rien... sauf que mes lectures de mémoire (articles académiques essentiellement) me prennent à la fois toute mon énergie et tout mon temps. Donc oui, je lis énormément, plus de 2500 pages par semaines mais rien ne figure ici - ce qu’il d’ailleurs biaise mes statistiques. Bonne merde à tous mes mémorants out there. Pleins de bisous. ❤️
