Meh, except for the last blooper.

All explosions and no development makes this a dull book.

The battles are cool, but the plot seems sorta aimless. The first person POV is not my liking.

I mean, it’s not as good as Cradle, but it can be funny at times.

It’s a bit slow, but with Travis Baldree narrating it, I can manage.

It’s amazing what the GI bill did.

I have to be honest, although the prose is decent, the dialogue is terrible. The world building is also really basic.

Disappointing read.

The writing is not very good. The Dialogue is weak, and overall, the story doesn't really pack much of an emotional punch. Can't really root for the MC all that much.

Also, at the end of the day, it's basically reading a story where someone is playing a game. I just can't take it seriously if there aren't any strong real world consequences.

Things are finally getting started. A lot of the book is just buildup.
