A book for those who follow society doyennes. I read 200 pages of background and preparation for the party of the century. Unfortunately, the last 60 pages which covered the actual event were a disappointing finish. Our book club was underwhelmed.

This book will send you to the dictionary to find the meaning of an Asquithian attitude. I'm not enthralled with the book in the first 65 pages
