2nd pov romance came out of nowhere and totally uninteresting to me
This book biggest flaw is to tell not show…they tell you that Ravynn has always shown loyalty to the king but we never saw it. He was always a brigand/traitor
it removes any tension

Interesting hints to magic
romantic tension on point
beautiful writing
quite quick pace with little inner monologue

Probably for a young audience that wants to start reading fantasy. Otherwise the world is not brought well at all. Too much too quickly kills the immersion.
Very predictable plot and romance with no real chemistry…they are just hot man & woman so now they must be together ? that’s it that’s the reason
