Loved the first quarter but hoo boy the neoliberalism and racism hit HARD once the Consu were introduced. I was like nooooo I thought u were gonna be biting satire of the military industrial complex not a cartoonish and slightly ironic endorsement of it… unfortunately Starship Troopers it aint but damn, got this far, I’m gonna finish anyway. So I go to the library to renew my card and while I’m there, I randomly pick up a book whose author sounded familiar. I open it up, and it’s gonna just casually hit me with one of the best short stories I’ve ever read? You’re gonna devastate me in an entitely new way at 2pm on a Saturday? What the fuck
