This is feeling very YA to me. And it also reads like every other high fantasy book ever. I might DNF this now as I have much better reads to finish before they are due.
I may come back to this because I like the premise but right now I don’t think I will.

Kim is 76% done with These Summer Storms

This book has been rather underwhelming; it started out great but I’m pretty sure I’d have DNFd if it wasn’t for the Master, Julia Whelan using her exceptional skills for the audiobook.

It’s so underwhelming I went to bed at 76% woke this am thinking I’d finished it and wrote a review and everything. That doesn’t speak well for this book at 76%. :/
