..train journeys are conducive to reading, so I’ve read two thirds of this in a day

I tend to enjoy novels with a little bit of romance, especially if that’s complicated, and some complex family dynamics. This has both of those. I don’t resonate with the characters; they exist in a world very far removed from my own, but I am interested to see how this goes.

I’ve just reached part 2, and I’m enthralled. I love Tress, and need to know what her journey entails

Jumped straight back into this- after a run of weeks/months with no drive to read, I’m so glad to be out of it.

Hugely enjoying this so far- the world this author has painted is vivid and interesting. Looking forward to the rest of it and the sequel.

So she might be his sister, but not the other one’s sister, and that might solve a large portion of the messy relationships happening right now, and now I’ve gone cross-eyed. And there’s a boat.

What a beautiful, beautiful mirror of the first book.. wonderfully done.

Good so far. A “Shop Around The Corner”/“Parfumerie” feel to it, but with a little more magic.

Intriguing so far, with twists and turns and unexpected links (I love those sorts of stories)

It’s interesting so far- three women linked by family, talents and connections to nature and each of them in difficult situations with unpleasant characters around them, and lives shaped by loss.

I already love it. Many chuckles, already good character development. Onwards!

So many things.
I’m up early for work, I have to put this down, but I want to spend a day or two just solidly reading it.
