All I can think right now is how did so many people let this girl go to school this ignorant of the world?

I genuinely have 0 idea how this book has so many 4+ star reviews. 1/4 left to go and I'll finish it but it's gonna be a hate read

It's so goddamn wordy. Also I genuinely don't need to be told almost every single chapter that she dislikes the fae. This book is both intriguing but mildly difficult to stick with.

It's so slow. I have a feeling why we're being told this Aefe story but that part of the story is slow. It's finally gotten interesting but the addition of it really throws me off

It's soooo slow.... this is a tough read because there's interesting plot points but I'm 300+ pages in and the main characters suck at communicating. I'm going into intermittent reading slumps because it's so goddamn slow.... Also very little has actually happened and that's also driving me nuts. Idk how the author has managed to make it interesting and dull

I haven't read this book since probably 2009 and I loved it then. I remember bits but not all so we're on a nostalgic journey. I've read 22% today. That's better reading time then anything else I've read lately.

I love this story but.... there are like 5 pov's and they switch mid chapter. You'll be reading 1 pov then next paragraph you're in another pov which is frustrating.

There's a lot of telling going on too

They've already tried to fuck...... I'm over it but feel the need to keep reading. Sigh

I like this story for the most part but dear goddess am I fucking tired of spice just to have spice. Thea and Wilder are in lust with each other. She started out hating him just to "magically" change her mind because of a kiss and now all they want to do is fuck.
Also her magic is back, why? Because they fucked.
Thea and Wilder lowkey pmo and I used to like them.

I'm so tired of the tension between Mari and Griffin. After much contemplating,I realized why I dislike Arwen and Kane. Arwen hasn't grown at all. Kane is dumb for being as old as he is. But deep down while Kane pined for Arwen, she spent at least 60% of the last book being an asshole towards Kane then when straight insta-love and wanting to fuck. Their "relationship" just feels off ,nd it's killing my reading vibes.

I'm intrigued and bored. Idk how to make it make sense.

I loved book 1, but book 2 is rough. Arwen is borderline insufferable. Kane has also become a little insufferable.
The relationship between them is also the equivalent of teenagers.... I'm really hoping book 3 gets its shit together because this book is a major fumble.

After having read some really mediocre stories, this book is fixing my love for reading.
