i’m often running into the issue of being too much of a feminist to put up with how male authors describe female characters. i hate the way women are written here. they only appear if it’s for sex. and stop telling me about it their tits. it’s really disappointing because i really love th navidson record sections but i can’t STAND truant

i like the mystery aspect of the book and how it’s structured but i really can’t stand Johnny… he’s so offensively yankee… i can see how the style in his part specifically influenced the way a lot of amateur horror writers write nowadays and it’s annoying as fuck

i’m glad th introduction/letter at the beginning isn’t the voice for the whole book. i really wasn’t feeling Johnny Truants voice. I still have a lot of hope for the rest of the book though. it might be the only book i can say i want to read purely because of the formatting
