This is a dense read, but so far I am really enjoying it. I’ve been taking it pretty slowly, so that when I read it I can really soak up the information. It reads like a textbook, but with more compelling prose than your standard textbook. So far, I’ve learned a lot of fascinating things. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in the humanities and history, but it’s definitely not for a casual reader.

This book is different than what I was expecting, although I didn’t do any research into it. I had no idea that “green witch” was a term referred to witchcraft (which is really just a sign of my own ignorance since witch is literally in the name!) I was just information on different herbs and herbal uses. However, I’ve been listening to it while I walk, and it’s okay. I’ll update when I finish.
