So far I just don’t like it. The first party is a novelization of the movie. After a few chapters of that, I just skipped the first part. I’ve seen the movie plenty of times, I know the story. So far the sequel part is just plain boring. Poppy’s obsession with Isabella is annoying. I’m going to attempt to finish it, hope it gets better, and hope the movie sequel coming out next month is much better.

So far this has been a bit of a slow read for me. Suspicious Minds (also a Stranger Things book) had more of a Stranger Things feel to it. This book seems more of a slow crime novel.
