I would read like so many books about Yrene. I would be soooo on board, she’s my favorite. Nesryn is also awesome, and I’m so happy seeing her get her adventure! Also I think I’m finally starting to like Chaol, and I’m so glad he can finally find his own identity in this book!

I’ll be honest, I feel like I don’t understand Aelin anymore, I have no real opinions about Aedion (other than my Aedianndra ship), and Rowan is a grump. I loved Manon, but her story has been absent for a while.

Thank the mother (or more accurately, thank you Abby) I’m tandem reading this with Tower of Dawn otherwise I would be soooo bored of the court intrigue rather than the character bits I love so much.

why do I hear “one day more” playing?

I'll be honest, not loving Rowan so far. I don't get Aelin's relationship with him. Not in the fun, tension filled, flirty way, but in the, 'why is this character necessary' kind of way. I feel like her character needs more of a foil than Rowan has provided so far.

Also, the witches storylines have been going for a book and a half and I still don't know why their story needs to be told yet.
