Immensely readable and I am eager to know what happens. So far has offered some interesting interrogation on some hot-button topics - I was thinking especially of Elizabeth Gilbert delaying the publication of her book set in Siberia. But I cannot stand June and her untrustworthy narration - I think using the first person here was a cop-out from truly interrogating what she did and what it means to "write" & "steal."

I have this annoying habit where I have all these thoughts as I read and I don't write them down - anyway, Collins is a genius. The satirization of capitalism in America is just incredible. Took me until this novel to put 2+2 together and realize that the games themselves are a metaphor for us sending our children off to die in war. Maybe they die, maybe the come home a hero - forever changed. Chefs kiss all around

am i a horror girlie or is this really really good
