I am trying but I do not love this book like I have the others in the series. The book is split between flashbacks and current day. Basically, their time together is filled with strife or they are apart. I wanted to see the other characters and get an update.

This was a good book but I was disappointed in the fact the main characters were apart most of the book. The scene when Ethan discovers Vance and Carmela are more than friends was also a disappointment. I wanted to see more between them. The argument was interrupted and then everything was fine at the end with little more discussion. Generally, I really enjoy the HRT series but not this book so much.

I am enjoying this book. I find the banter between the characters quite amusing. My biggest issue is that the characters are taking too long to acknowledge their feelings.

DNF- This was a dry book and I couldn't get through it. I stopped reading. The main character was drifting through life and just not catching a break. She came across unexcited about life.

I am loving this book. I think the books where the characters have a history make for more believable love stories because they aren't so rushed. I can't wait to see what happens.

I am loving this book so far. I have missed my Highlanders.

I was liking the book. I am starting to get a little turned off with the heroine's tactics to get the hero's attention. The fact that she has dated one of his brothers and is OVERLY friendly with the others is tacky to me. I like the heroines with more self-respect.

Albeit it good writing, this book is very slow for me. I have put it on the shelf to get back to it.

Loving the book and the action!! Each of these books is so very accurate as to the setting and the actions of the characters. I love Pamela Clare books!!

This is starting pretty slow.

Good story and the action is starting to pick up. Eager to get farther in this book.
