A book of three sub books, each chapter having long subchapters. Long sentences whose meaning can become obscure by the time i get to the other end.

Challenging

Getting through this slowly.
I didn't like the style of the writing but getting used to it.
There are some characters that are seriously racist, misogynistic and have anger issues. They wouldn't be friends of mine.

I've had it. Haven't even reached the 'gang' part yet but this is so uninteresting. Ned Kelly chops down trees. Ned Kelly is a bystander at a robbery. Ned Kelly is arrested and poorly treated. When he gets out of jail, Ned Kelly chops down trees.
He's a lumberjack but he's not OK.
The Ned Kelly story should be gripping, or it's not worth telling it at all.
This is leaving my life now!

I was sucked in by the first page.
Thought it was going to be a gripping account of cybercrime and the motivations for it.
What I got was pages and pages about a CIA conspiracy to overthrow the deeply unpopular Whitlam government. Give me strength!
I don't often give up on a book, so I have continued to wade through shoddily written chapters about other apparently unrelated crimes.
