It’s a tragic story, but I love me some sad books.

This book is PAINFUL. The unfairness of the whole bureaucratic system is awful. Frida definitely made some mistakes as a mother, but this punishments is inhumane. Between the AI dolls, 10 minute weekly conversations and constant surveillance, this book is making ME paranoid on Frida’s behalf.

Tara’s dad is just…very careless. The safety of his family seems to be at odds with his faith… which is a little disturbing to me.
