The lady asked Toru to wear a tie with polka dots and she'll wear a red hat. Toru couldn't find his tie with polka dots so he wore a striped one. He got to the cafe and didn't spot the lady so he sat down and waited for her. Someone behind asked if he was Toru and he turned around and it was the lady. He was a bit surprised because he wasn't expecting her to know it was him since he wasn't wearing the polka dot tie.

Toru and his wife got into an argument. She got mad because he got blue tissues and toilet paper with flowers which she hates. She also told him that she hated beef and vegetables being cooked together. The next day he got a call from a lady and asked him some questions. His wife then calls him minutes later to tell him that he was going to get a call from a lady and she's going to help with the missing cat.

Toru stayed at a girl's home to look for his cat. He fell asleep for a bit and still saw no sign of the cat so he decided to leave and go back home. When he got back home he did some chores and made dinner for himself and his wife. His wife was silently crying because she believes that the cat is dead.

So far the important things I read are Toru quit his job. He stays home doing some chores while his wife works. Toru gets a random call from a lady who wants to talk with him for 10 minutes to get to know more about each other.

Leah is nervous about meeting Eli's best friend Heath because he had just come out of rehab and she thinks he's kinda a bad person. Heath thinks that he should be mean to Leah for being his best friend's best friend.

Mariam found a flyer in the yard. in the flyer it talked about the new laws which are, citizens have to pray 5 times a day, men will have to grow their beards, singing dancing, writing books, watching films and painting pictures are forbidden.

Rasheed asks Laila how are things with Mariam, Laila tells him that things were fine but she lied. She didn't tell him about the fight they had. Mariam was looking for a wooden spoon and accused Laila for hiding it.

Whenever Belly isn't able to sleep she goes to the pool to swim until she gets tired. She wasn't able to sleep so she put on her bathing suit which fit her small now. She went to the pool and was swimming she felt something so she went up, got some air and saw it was Conrad's leg that she had felt. He was sitting and had his feet in the water. Conrad was smoking.

Belly tells a story about the day she got her heart broken. Belly and Conrad were home alone. She was in her room reading a book, she had purposely left the door a bit open. Conrad walked by and asked her if she would like to go to a fair with her

Belly and her family (her mom and her brother Steven) get to their mom's sister/ friend's house. Outside sitting in the porch was Conrad and Jeremiah. As soon as Steven got out of the car he went to go him hug both Conrad and Jeremiah. Then their mom hugged them after. No one noticed Belly but when they did they couldn't recognize because she looked different and she didn't wore glasses anymore.

Levi gets picked up by her dad and she gets her luggage then they go to a Mc Donald's. Levi doesn't not talk and sometimes people think she's deaf but she isn't she just doesn't talk.

Levi's mom and her friend Caleb drop her off to the airport and say goodbye to each other.

Caleb decides to take Levi somewhere since he knew she didn't want to be home. He takes her to get pizza and he asked her when is she leaving with her dad and she takes out her phone and types something and her phone reads out loud what she typed. Levi hasn't spoken in 179 days.

Levi runs out of her house and she walks by herself. It had started raining. She starts thinking about her friend who died. She remembered the last day she saw her like it had happened yesterday. Then her friend Caleb drives by her and tells her to go inside his car. He tells Levi that her mom told him about her going to Australia with her dad, she got pretty upset with him

Levi's mom came into her room to tell her she was very sorry. Levi was forced to go with her father which she hasn't seen in 3 years. Her father lives all the way in Australia. She doesn't want to leave

Levi loved the rain when she was little. She enjoyed looking out the window and watching the rain. At school she would always draw the rain because it made really happy while other kids drew smiling suns and clear blue skies. She would always try to find the end of the rainbow but one day she gave up and stopped looking for the end of the rainbow.

King burns down Maverick's store. In the store, Starr, Chris, DeVante and Seven were inside they tried getting out but couldn't so they scream at a guy that was outside and he helped them get out of the store.

Starr, Seven and Chris went to go look for DeVante. Kenya calls Seven and tells him that he was at her house. So they all go to her house. King had this party in the back. Kenya's mom tells them to take DeVante before King sees. During the car ride, the radio announces that the police that killed Khalil will not be pressed charges. They decide to go on a riot. Some people were burning down buildings. They leave and

Starr had gone to Chris's house. She fell asleep in his bed and a call from her brother woke her up. He was telling her that DeVante went missing.

so, lesha goes to his birthday party. She wanted to know why she wasn't invited and had to hear it from her mother that he was having a birthday/graduation party. She then tells him "after all i've done for you" and Seven told her that she hasn't done anything for him and have this little argument. Then go under the stairs. Seven was there with Kenya. They were both crying. Starr plays a song from Kendrick

They decide to make Seven a birthday/graduation party. Kenya, Chris and Maya went to his party. Starr and her friends and family were talking dancing and having fun but then Starr gets a call saying that Lesha was outside

Starr and her family were home watching the basketball. then they heard glass shutter and gunshots. Maverick gets his gun and shoots one of their car's wheel.

Starr has the interview and she tells Diane what happened that night and who he was. She told him the reason why he sold drugs. Towards the end of the interview Diane asked what would she say to the officer if he was there and she said she would ask him if he wished he killed her too.

Starr and her family are heading to the interview. Ms ofrah has been preparing for that interview everyday. When they get there they are met by a guy named john

"Belly" her mom and brother were going to Beck's house which is close to a beach. Beck and her mom have been bestfriends sinc they were nine years old

Starr's dad decided to help DaVante hide from King. He took him to Uncle Carlos's home to stay there. They told him that he would be safe there.

Lara finds out that Margot is not gonna vist them on thanks giving because thanksgiving is to short to fly all the way to her home. Lara was upset and kinda worried because Margot was the who made the turkey on thanksgiving and Lara doesn't know how to make it.

Starr and her mom and brother went back home. At there way home they were met by a police roadblock. Starr was really scared so she closed her eyes the whole time.

Margot and Lara went to Kitty's swim meet. She got 2 first place ribbons and 1 second place. As soon she gets in the car she asks for Josh and Lara had to lie telling her he had to work at a bookstore.
