Really? On page 4 those timeframes are vastly different: Jessica was taken first, then Olivia. “… about two weeks after she was kidnapped, Olivia was brought back….” 4 days after she was returned Molly was taken.

“We watch Max and Molly in the distance.” Really? I don’t know how they’re doing that since the whole point of being there is to find Molly who was kidnapped 10 years ago. It’s Lucy. They’re watching Lucy. Come on!

“James—I still thought of him as James, even though I knew that person had never existed…” Except that’s actually his name: James. What it isn’t is Jimmy Carlson.

Ophir Canyon campground? Big Eddy Campground? I’m sure they’re the same.

I nearly stopped reading 14 pages in: Daily Grind doesn’t make Frappuccinos; those are only for Starbucks. Then, “I know she probably…” is nonsensical. Now, page 89, yet another timeline error. The story seems fine, but I’d love for the book to have been edited appropriately.

I’m not loving this book. I don’t much like the FMC. Then, on page 175, in a letter dated February 2, 2017, she talks about Reese Witherspoon’s book recommendations. Problem is, Reese didn’t start making book recommendations until May of 2017.
