tries to start fast but assumes we didn’t read 5000 unrelated pages since the last book.

other reviews were right, things pick up after the first two hundred pages

so close to giving up but the first volume worked well

Lots of words. Not sure it’s worth continuing. Roughly one third in to the book. So many words of such random stuff. Maybe they tie together.

Due to the library. Returned. Maybe I’ll resume it in the future. Then again I may not.

this is so tedious. continues the story of the prior two books, but soooo much work to read it.
Very close to saying Good Bye, Green Bones.

Barely begun and already disappointed. As if made for HBO, the author's favorite word appears to rhyme with duck. While brief, the sex scenes seem a move for the camera and do little to advance the story, ie they're unnecessary and serve only to change the target age of the book.

Done enough. After their first book, this was more of the same.
