didnt realize how much I missed these ppl

im trying to read this so i can add new books to my top 10 to read next but gahh i am so not in the mood for a thriller but im gonna try

I never change when it comes to historical fiction. im confused and bored out of my mind the first like 5 chapters and then I get it and then im like OHHH this is so interesting but its so long but SO INTERESTING. omg i took a security class once and got to learn all about the ciphers and keys and stuff and omg i saw mention of turing and was like IS THAT GODDAMN ALAN TURING!?!?! Anyway the nerd that is me is happy

bro what on actual earth (or i guess, not earth) is going on

interesting

this has been on my tbr for a veryyyy long time, it is time

saw a thread from this author with a quote and immediately was convinced to read this oop

totally forgot im reading this, and i have been since like may BUT not because its bad but bc it does take some effort to get into and i just fr have not been reading :( also its been a hot second since ive read a book thats >400 pages oop

guyszzzz idk what to readddd (It's not like I have 100s of books on my tbr or anything, pls choose smthn for meee)

hey my lovelies! an update - i just graduated (and therefore why I have been missing for a bit and had to put a lowk trashy web novel as my april's book bc it's fr the only thing i had the brain power to digest) BUTTTT it's summer now and ya girl shall be backk!!

lmk how yall doing and ill catch up on things

manni: reads romantasy and finds herself often disappointed by the male leads
also manni: absolutely obsessed with a nerd-science-teacher-in-space in a book that is most definitely not romance-adjacent

i can't help myself, i'm an engineer and this guy's speaking my language (and is smart! and funny! is this too much to ask for-)

you know i love an enemies to lovers, interesting so far and pretty fast and easy to read.

I went into this thinking it would be very pretentious and take itself too seriously, but honestly this is such a fun read so far? I am incredibly entertained and the physics flashbacks are real

of course i pick up yet another friends to lovers AJKWDHJ but at least its funny so far HEHE

HI LOVES!! apologies for the long absence, the work and school pipeline has been absolutely time destorying I don't even know what day it is anymore AAAAA - but hopefully will at least keep something being read in the background (once upon a broken heart??) either way ramadan mubarak yall and take care!

I was telling my buddy read this too, but this is legit such a refreshing read? I mean obviously not like refreshing refreshing there's people dying yall, BUT like ive read sm thrillers where the only reason the mystery is a mystery is bc of an unreliable narrator. like TOO MANY IM TIRED OF IT. but this one??? this has hit the ground running frrrr

alright only just now have i read the synopsys and omg relationship of convenience??? enemies to lovers?? HELLO MY FAV TROPES no wonder people said they liked this more than phantasma (and i LOVED phantasma so this is saying a lot)

wait this is such a vibe and I love a nerdy moment - we better be going to SPACE YALL RAHHHHH

wow ok already off to an insane start, but what else would we expect from tjr frfr? also in one of my side quests I got to do a program at the NASA aerospace center in my state and everyone there is legit so cool, put together, and real? either way im excited to see if the impression in my head overlaps with this book at all

OK first of all I love these covers so much THEYRE SO PRETTY!!! also no idea what's happenning rn but im living for it

I realized I went into this having no idea what its about oop- but vv interesting rn! very different from the other thrillers ive been reading lately so im intrigued

Starting this with my booksta girlies!! my first holly jackson and i am vv excited!

Hi. It’s your dad. You’ll be waking up soon, it’s Christmas Eve morning in Helsingborg, and I’ve killed a person.

- lowkey crazy way to start a book

I dont recall if I updated you guys on this, but I held off on reading this last year (damn 2025 is last year now) bc with My Friends I ended up reading 67 books... and if yall know anything about the kids of today's generation (ahem, my sister) they greatly enjoy the 67. so here we are. further the prologue of this was iconic, and of course im starting the year with a freida HAH
