Holy Marie Combs! The chapter with Petyr and Charlotte was bonkers and disturbing but guess that’s the point. So far im enjoying the part ii and it’s funny but I kept on imagining Mia Goth as Charlotte or perhaps Pearl but in a more sedated witchy way lol.

I dont get why Noah suddenly took interest in Quinn tbh. He is a sweet guy but it felt too rushed?

The first person narrative can get claustrophobic but i guess that’s the point :/ So we finally know that Crake is fucking psychopath 😒

I skipped a few chapters and read the sparknotes (remember them?!) so I can get a better sense of wtf is actually going on here. Suffice to say, I will continue as I already get the pieces of puzzles already. This book is hard lol, the characters are not exactly pleasant but I enjoyed reading polarizing novels because I do believe that’s the only way one can expand their horizons 😁

My first Atwood’s book and so far it’s been bizarre and interesting. I glanced at a review on this on Google earlier and one said the back and forth flashback and present days were too distracting. Lol this made me chuckle cos this book isn’t heavy nor it’s hard to understand. Or are people just lazier these days? 😅
