Finished the 1st story. It was corny and sweet.

I’m hooked by the wildly improbable screwball comedy romance. I definitely want to know how this turns out.

I can’t finish this. I’ve had enough.

I saw the series on television a long while ago, but the book is a bit different. So far I’m enjoying the book as much as I enjoyed the show, which is to say, very much.

The story, “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone” is the first of 4 stories in the book. It’s an excellent spooky story! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope the others are good too. I’m enjoying the audiobook version. The narration is good too. Listening on!

This is a very imaginative story. I was surprised to learn that you can’t have a pet ferret in California. I like learning surprising trivia in a story.

Listening to the audiobook of this memoir. I wasn’t aware of the author’s TikTok account before choosing her book; I found it while browsing. So far her stories are interesting. In the middle, she shares some practical insight into the cost and difficulty of accessing hospice care I did not know, just as an aside in a story. I plan to re-listen to make a note to look into this further.

I get so much pleasure reading this book again to my granddaughter. She is hooked on the story, just like her mother and aunt were when they were young girls.

Stephen Fry makes these stories so interesting and entertaining and I’m learning so much about the influence these stories have had on our culture today.

I’m enjoying the debate on the existence of God between the characters in the book. Good questions were posed. I wish I knew answers with certainty on a tangible level. My feelings of certainty only exist on an ethereal level. Logically, I cannot conjure certainty. My belief and experience defies logic, and sometimes I struggle with that.

Not finished, but I’m convinced everybody who wants to be an informed citizen could benefit from reading this book.

I’ve just deleted ACCUWEATHER from my smart phone. Now my phone is a little smarter.

I saw the movie and then decided to listen to the audiobook, because sometimes the book has more detail or differs from the movie. In this case it’s both. The book tell us plenty about Michael Hess that’s not in the movie. Michael was gay, an expert on gerrymandering, worked for the RNC and the White House during the Reagan years right at the start of the AIDS crisis.

A little more than halfway through, I'm really enjoying this book. I've learned some interesting things about birds and birding, but I'm also captivated by Neil Hayward's personal journey.

Though I did not know much about Booker T. Washington when I started the book, still his story surprises me.
