Not bad tbh

This story is crazy, poor Ella and Anton they are so messed up

Honestly? Not too bad. Def a very low grade level of writing but entertaining enough, couldn’t even get through The Divorce lol

Last two stories for day were great

This is really hit and miss lol. So far I enjoyed the stories Bright Day, Trick of the Light, and The Wanting. The others were okay, but Trick of the Light was really bad tbh. Too much would, could, had, should, flashbacks back and forth in time, and sentence fragments. It read as a rough draft. At least I know I could be published haha

It took about halfway through the novel but it got really good! I didn’t even mind the time loops

Okay now the politics are better, I love how the creation of Dominion mirrors the fascism of the current day. Also scarred angry Una is much better than the pretty Una I was expecting

So I am mostly enjoying this so far but it’s a bit slow and very heavy-handed on the themes of nationalism and empire which I find annoying lol. I’m not dumb I can figure this out myself without it being told to me

I love how nerdy this book is! So much was cut out of the movie
