I had to read the intro to this for my women, crime and justice class and I was enthralled by the authors’ propositions, as a student, it’s frankly not often I’m interested in hearing the opinions of any older generations but the arguments made, just in the intro, gave me pause… which is high praise considering I can’t read non-fiction, but I’m feeling optimistic!!

I’ve never progressed slower in a book that I feel like I’m reading constantly??
