This is so cute. I love this.

I’ve had the biggest grin on every single page so far. I am loving this!

It’s kind of confusing and I am not invested enough yet to suffer through the confusion. I shall continue on but I suspect I’ll be DNFing.

I don’t know why but I am having so much trouble getting into this series.

I can see where this is going and I am already bored. Which says something as a woman was just kidnapped.

Bored.

I am confused. There are a lot of contradictions.

Maria’s story is the more interesting this time around. In the first book, I wasn’t really ever confused, though there was a lot of information that didn’t connect. This one is A LOT more confusing. Ava’s story is jumpy and not clear. Both Ava’s and Maria’s stories are a bit juvenile in the writing and in the characters themselves. Meh. Not impressed.

In the first book, I loved Ava’s story and didn’t care as much about Maria’s but now my opinion has completely switched. In the first book, I wasn’t really confused ever, I just wasn’t sure how it was all going to tie together. I still don’t understand that but I’m suffering from a lot more confusion from the stories themselves in this one.

It’s very repetitive. Quinn seems so irresponsible and dumb that I actually don’t want him to hire her.

This is really long for what it is.

Maybe we’re making progress? It’s still too slowly paced. And I understand her anger towards Bridger, but can she really not begin to fathom what he’s endured? She’s barely been tortured. He spent years being tortured. Maybe a little understanding would go a long way.

Ughh. It picked up a bit around 33% but not much. I am still waiting for something to happen. The pacing is too slow. Way too slow. And every so often, there’s just weird wording that just draws me out of the book. It’s easy to put down. I am not sure how much more I can take.

I’m interested and curious but also, the pace is slooooow.

Already multiple grammar and spelling mistakes. I am not impressed. Likely a DNF.

Eh. I already don’t like either main character. DNF.

Info dumping beginning with a “feisty” heroine who really just doesn’t know when to shut up. Think this is going to be a DNF for me.

I am bored and irritated. I would rather watch paint dry than continue to read this.

I want to love this. It has the right elements but they’re just not done the way I want them. The characters lack depth. I am 30% into this story and I know nothing about the FMC at all except she lacks muscle but apparently has a mean upper cut and just a natural inclination for boxing. Yeah, right. And their relationship is lust only. Not into this.

So she has no muscle at all and on her very first session, she lands a nearly perfect uppercut and yet her hand shows no sign of damage? Doubtful.

This seems a bit repetitive. I keep waiting for something different to happen.

I was so excited for this and I am disappointed. There are so many proofreading misses already - at 18%! I haven’t seen anything worthwhile to continue on at this point. DNF.

Frustrated. Perhaps Sabine wouldn’t make horrible life threatening choices if she knew what Wolf knows. Still don’t understand why he didn’t tell her.

I am finding this extremely easy to put down… it’s repetitive and I find I no longer particularly care. 😕
