I can tell I’m in for an angsty ride

Story by C. Rochelle. Cute. Recommend for those with a BDSM, good boy kink. And a crow mate called Lenore. Vampire daddy and a plus one that turned into plus forever… despite it being so short, the pace did not feel rushed, totally believable in their chemistry. Wished the mom issue was wrapped up a bit more.

The beginning was confusing, the genders with the names threw me off a bit. But I have not been as into this book as the others. Maybe it’s the writing style and the hate within the family.

Ugh this story is so captivating. Start off with a bang, and then the mess happens. I can't wait for the sht to hit the fan and see how it comes out!

Spur of the moment send sample to see what this book is about, then when the sample was up, I needed to continue this book. It was an easy choice.

Book is slow going, but of my own problems, not of the book’s issue. Reading this without prior reading of book 1 means I’m not as invested, but after a few chapters in, I’m invested in the mystery. Do not like that Gwil is being asked to step aside as a side piece for Hyax’s political marriage though.

While I’m loving the reluctant vibe of second chance romance and enemies to lovers, there isn’t an established why they were not friends in high school. Like just because Jett continued to say the wrong thing? Or is it the rich/poor thing? Or the gay/not gay thing? I mean it’s obvious it’s the Jett liked Remy and was awkward thing, but like it’s taking it a bit too far I think.

Also I peeked into later books so I am not so anxious about the plot line. Everything will be fine, I tell myself.

A bit of a slow burn and more plotting. I have more questions than answers at this point

Winter Blues: another miscommunication to lovers trope, with added best friend’s little brother. However it was all worth it to see the dad’s reaction when the little brother announces it like no big deal.

Christmas pipe dream: I had high hopes for this, but I think it was lacking the heart wrenching angst that Lark Taylor is known for. It’s entirely too cheerful. The miscommunication/enemies to lover is a little similar to the other stories in this anthology.

Holidate Rescue. Cute. But a little tired of miscommunication /enemies to lovers. Surprisingly one MC seems to be a bit rounder in the middle, but suffers from self-confidence. Having hear his love interest call him perfect, he finally believes him. It’s a nice holiday story. First read by Dianne Roman.

Story two: the one where with the mafia killers. CW: homophobia

It’s an ok story about two guys in the mafia.

I don’t like stories where homophobia is an issue
Coming off of the fun mage/shifter story, this one lacked.

Better suited for someone who likes a bit of dark MM romance.

This isn’t going to be an easy read.

Also why do I feel like Maseo is going to turn this couple into a thruple?

I want to read faster, and find out everything. This slow burn is killing me.

Z.S. Storm delivers another dark dark dark romance with forbidden and complicated love.

Ok. So slow start, cuz although blurb was interesting enough, i did not actually know what this book was about.

Reading tbe prologue, i am hooked and will be devouring this book. So don’t just read the blurb. It makes no sense. But prologue+blurb= 🤯😱😳
