A quick and good read.

Slow and steady. So much information packed so tightly together is making my head burst. Talking about QR codes and barcodes omg what is with the error codes and stuff

Up to Pearl Harbour. Love this book with its maps and diagrams. You really get a full picture of world war two.

A bit complicated sometimes but it seems to be coming together. Just read a bit and pause seems like a good strategy.

I like this book because it's not just informational text, but it's from the first person point of view of many different people who worked at Bletchley Park. It's like talking to a lot of British grandparents about what they did during the war.

There is so much detail and backstory, with me trying to get the actual main text.... I mean I did learn new things but let's get to the meat already.

Seems like a very long book. But learned a few new things so far.

Just wanna finish it now. Not really learning much...

Learning more about chess than life. I feel like it's a lot of fluff indeed. It really could be turned into a good chess book with chess annotations and games. But he's really talking in general terms about some parts of chess and uses metaphors and analogies to relate it to business or some historical event. Not much to learn here really.

Essentially, he is viewing life through his viewpoint of chess.

Seems like a pretty short book. I like the addition of his chess matches and strategies though.

Very interesting about decision making and how it impacts the results. Similar to the book about world war I was reading where it was trying to untangle who was responsible by looking at everyone's decisions. It can be a mess sometimes. Just because you make a decision doesn't mean it will have the impact you intend. That's why you need feedback to see what the effect was and modify your future actions in response.

All that is left is how it's going to finish. The trauma. Is it going to take her over and drown her, or is she going to somehow escape through some miraculous light peeping through some keyhole?

Getting to the end now.
Seems like she is a pretty complicated and traumatised woman now....

Really submerged in the story now.

Yep...this book got just got in the weird category now....

And here the real essence of the story comes out. There was grooming and she has been manipulated. It comes out stronger and stronger as I read on. He is afraid of the consequences and pushes her to stay silent. She is so young and naive that she doesn't know what the real world would be like. She doesn't have the experience to understand how she is being manipulated. How her feelings are being manipulated.

A lot more complex than first thought. Brings up a lot of issues. Writing the book in first perspective from the girl's perspective kind of makes things in the book a far away from what I thought it would be. We will have to see what the end is like.

Somewhat strange things are happening now. Would be good to see how it all develops.

Compared to the other books I've been reading this is fairly easy to read.
Only at the beginning so it's all the whole who are the characters, where is the setting type of stuff. Nothing too interesting so far...

Well that was a bit much. Books seem to always fit in some sex scene but God, what the hell was that?
