Originally interested in the book because Of Papa and the topic: an ambulance driver & a nurse fall in love during a war. I’d still like to finish the book at some point, but I’m giving it a rest for now. A lot of detail. A lot of alcohol. I’m not hooked on it, but do wish to finish the story.
