Stacey is starting You Matter
Awe.
Simple paintings, simple word...so powerful and fun. A great story to cuddle and read, or for story time.

Stacey is starting Battle Ground (The Dresden Files, #17)
I laughed, I cried, I felt fully in the battle. The Dresden Files is one of my favorite series and I was not disappointed by this latest installment. Also..”there’s no way to keep the Librarians out now.” I really hope these Librarians are in a future book...they sound evil, but also epic.

Stacey is starting Little Penguins
I need a funny book and Little Penguin for the spot. My favorite part was when one penguin was on a toboggan and the others were sliding on their bellies, including the mother in her apron. A great read aloud or story time pick.

Stacey is starting Bright and Dangerous Objects: A Novel
I had never considered saturation diving and deep sea welding as a job, but now it fascinates me.
On the surface this is a story of a woman considering ambition or family, and navigating those relationships. It goes so much deeper and pulls the reader into reflection on decisions, desires, and the steps we take towards a future we plan or is unintended. An enjoyable read.

Stacey is on page 82 of 180 of Poetry in Motion from Coast to Coast: 120 Poems from the Subways and Buses
I enjoyed the variety and accessibility of the poetry and the reminder that words travel with us, literally and figuratively.
