chapter 10 is giving me actual headache. although i predicted it but legit my brain is about to combust bcs oh my god 🧍🏻‍♂️i could hear my heart raced.

i really love this book so far. the clever way of exploring colonisation on different perspectives and not to forget the portrayal of patriarchy deep rooted in a society even a feminist herself might have not realised it deep within her thoughts.

as someone who studied programming, seeing object-oriented magic system is so wild and unique. im so giddy!!

i love it so far. it feels like watching a historical romance c-drama. i can imagine everything vividly ann liang's writing is beautiful - it has that certain poetic flow yet lucid that matches the vibe of the whole story.
