I'm so tired of Tolstoy's Russian aristocracy. In Anna Karenina, they infuriated me; in War and Peace they've been irritating me and boring me to tears. Even the likable ones just won't stop falling in love with strangers to the detriment of everyone.
I'll probably give another Russian writer a try, but at the moment I'm super understanding why so many Russian peasants were calling for bloody revolution.
