it’s been sitting on my shelf for about 2.5 years,,, let’s see where it takes me

managed to snag the first copy from my library’s Libby collection and lowkey, riding the high of being able to get it first heheheh

seeing how her story progressed made me sad

it’s been 2, 3, and now 4 minutes after death…

I really like the pacing this book has so far and I like seeing how Leila’s story develops as she encounters these flashbacks as her life slowly seeps away…

1 minute: brain cells run out of blood and are deprived of oxygen

trying to speedrun this book before it leaves theaters ToT

it’s been a while since I hoped for a character’s downfall

started listening to this book a few days ago after finding out anne hathaway might make a movie about this

I really despise the main character and I hope she gets the ending she deserves

my actual prediction was correct,, I’m so close to being done with this book!! I’m honestly glad and sad that it’s ending soon :,) this is really captivating and I want to read more too!! but I’m not built like I used to back in my days,,, :,0 anyways!! read outside for a while, but then my toes got cold and had to move inside…

was doing so good during spring break, but now that I’m back at work,, I’m lacking with my reading :,(

little by little

went to my favorite coffee shop: got an ube latte (iced and half-sweet) and a banana bread brownie! i sat outside as i read and it was honestly really nice--just nature and i, dilly dallying as she kept blowing the pages of my book

really enjoying this book a lot!! slowly getting out of my reading slump :D

read faster at home than I did at the coffee shop I went to today (got overwhelmed by the music being played),, really enjoying the way the writing is presented and I’m really looking forward to reading more tomorrow!! :D

making a small effort to read 30 min a day

slowly getting through it through my morning duty,,

slowly sensing a theme with the books i am reading...hmm...
but i wonder if his characters visiting him are a cause of the company or his struggles,, we'll see...




(also, picked this book up again while i was waiting for the neurologist to come and tell me what was wrong with me LOL)

am I reading too many books right now? yeah probably, but honestly, too much is happening and I’m somewhat stretching myself thin. We’ll see what happens.

one of my favorite quotes so far is: “Within a mile Ennis felt like someone was pulling his guts out hand over hand yard at a time….He felt about as bad as he ever had and it took a long time for the feeling to wear off.” How much he missed and longed for Jack.

On another hand, the sudden sex scene caught me off guard, but felt appropriate for the moment. Excited to see how it goes.

the path to healing is slow

slowly getting through this book :,D

so far, I really enjoy Eleanor’s development and how her social interactions are going! although, I am a little scared to see how her interaction with her crush goes :,0

at the beginning, elanor’s behavior caught me off guard but as I’m slowly learning more about her, I understand her motives. I’m looking forward to seeing her improve and see what brought her to the place she currently is at.

I’m extremely captivated by the writing style and premise of this book. I’m so invested to see if Charlie ends up getting the ending he deserves. Nervous to see how it’ll progress.

chat, i don't think i am mentally ready to see how this book ends. i thoroughly love ove and his flashbacks that he has with sonya, but this man has had it rough and he misses and LOVES HIS WIFE!!!! like, he wants to die because he wants to see her again and he genuinely does not know how to continue his current life without her!! LIKE UGH, MY HEART!!!!

one day, I want to find love like ove and sonya had 🥲 all the flashbacks scenes have me wanting to cry out of how warm and cute they are together!! ove with a cat tho cracks me up LOL
