I’m extremely captivated by the writing style and premise of this book. I’m so invested to see if Charlie ends up getting the ending he deserves. Nervous to see how it’ll progress.

deeply fascinating

chat, i don't think i am mentally ready to see how this book ends. i thoroughly love ove and his flashbacks that he has with sonya, but this man has had it rough and he misses and LOVES HIS WIFE!!!! like, he wants to die because he wants to see her again and he genuinely does not know how to continue his current life without her!! LIKE UGH, MY HEART!!!!

one day, I want to find love like ove and sonya had 🥲 all the flashbacks scenes have me wanting to cry out of how warm and cute they are together!! ove with a cat tho cracks me up LOL

im really intrigued to find out how and why they are there and whether or not they actually become free at some point. so far, i have gathered that free thought/will is not something that they all possess and that having it makes you an outsider. hmmm.

this man desperately misses his wife and he just wants the color back in his life T_T !! i hope that he finds the right outlet for him to continue on.

bought this book since a librarian recommended it to me and honestly, I’m so glad they did

this makes me so sad for the mom and how everyone regrets how they treated her now that she is currently not available in their lives :-(

currently listening to this through Libby and honestly, it’s extremely captivating and keeps me wanting to listen more and more as the story and development progresses. it’s a bit heavy sometimes and it does make me think of my mom and her past, but it’s pretty good so far.

although many people really hate the way the author portrays one of the characters by the unique syntax, i find it throughly interesting and enjoy the slight challenge in having to figure out what someone is saying...

been reading this book on and off, but that's okay -- was reading it a bit on friday but stopped for a bit,, it's pretty interesting so far tho!

writing style is very similar to sally rooney

ngl, the writing style is lowkey putting me off atm, but upon further research in how he writes, it’s actually done on purpose which I find really interesting. I’m giving this book another chance once I have rested and can actually give it my full attention

lately, i’ve been getting extreme fomo from all the books i’m yet to read. i know i have a lifetime ahead of me, but i keep seeing books that i want to read and experience as well. i should take my time with it, but it’s also hard to enjoy the things i like with the current climate of the world. sigh. sorry for the ramble :,)
