Just started to read this book today 8-1-26

A sad story, about child slavery in 1867, and how children were mistreated if they didn't have families to protect them. But there were some people who did love and protect some of the hurting children. This is one of those stories.

Starting the third story:Healing Hearts; by Beth Wiseman, 2-4-26.

Starting the second Novela:: What the heart sees/Feb 2, 2026.

This book has three Novellas in it: the first on e is: A marriage of the heart by: Kelly Long. Itt starts out with Abigail Kauffman telling her father that she was kissed and touched by Joseph Lambert. She had a wish to leave her home and her over stearn father, butt it back fired by her father and the church leader demanding that they get married now. So far it is a good and compelling story.

Started this book last night 12 , 27, 2025. Very interesting so far.

There are two books in this book. Just finished the fist book: Christmas Carmel Murder. It was very interesting, following Hannah in solving the murder of one of the towns ladies who had upset manny members with her life style.
