end of book two. had many great moments on par with “wind-up”. still something feels faintly off.

book 1 done. so far so good. not wind-up bird level for me, but i still like the strange air around it. very lynchian in that same way. tengo’s story pulls me along. aomame less so. her chapters have felt a bit chore. let’s see.
