Many characters are so well-written that their life stories could fill an entire book on their own. But others are like caricatures, with personalities that are as flat as cardboard.
And why is there no realistic first meeting with X??? It seems like everyone falls in love with her or becomes a simp the moment she walks into the scene. It's really killing my mood. I have to take so many breaks for this drama.

Misinformation and exaggerated headlines are everywhere. Luckily, I knew about the news beforehand and fact-checked it. It's disappointing to see this kind of stuff. I was excited to read it among the longlisted books for the Women's Prize for Nonfiction, but now I'm so disappointed. I'll finish it only cause I have the ARC

Read until I/28. I was this 🤏 close to DNFing this book at I/26 when the melodrama of Katharina and Hans became too much for me to handle.
